Jill Scott Tour -Mike Burton

Touring with Miss Jill Scott this summer has been amazing. We all know that she is one of the greatest soul singers alive, but she is also very socially conscious. I consider it a blessing to work with an artist who has their finger on the pulse of what's going on in America. An artist who isn't afraid to speak to the injustices that so many of us deal with day to day. And she does it with elegance and class. This tour is more than just a job. I feel that Jill and her band brothers (that's what she calls us)...I feel that we are spreading love, light, and positivity wherever we go. That's definitely something the world needs more of today. Coming up next month, we'll be at the One Music Fest in Atlanta as well as Essence Festival in Durban, South Africa. Good times!
